Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans completed his first signing for the Millers yesterday, bringing in striker, Daniel Nardiello from Exeter City.

The twenty-nine year old former Barnsley, QPR and Blackpool player says that he wants to be part of Rotherham United as it is a 'club that`s moving forward.`

Speaking to the Official Site after he signed yesterday, Daniel said, 'It is a great move for me and hopefully I can repay the Gaffer's trust and faith in me and score a lot of goals next season, and help the club achieve promotion.`

Having a few League One clubs after him, Daniel was asked why he chose the Millers and he said, 'The Gaffer asked if I was interested in talking so I drove up with my Dad, we had a chat and he showed me around the new stadium. We went to back of the home end and it looked a class act so that was one of many reasons why I decided to move. I discussed it with my wife and family and we felt that Rotherham would be a really good move. The club really seems to be going places so hopefully I can be a part of that.

'It`s exciting times with the Gaffer looking to bring in more players. He believes in what he does and where the club can go and he is really enthusiastic and I believe he can take this club forward and improve me as a player.`
