RUFC - New additions next week

Join The Vital Debate

Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans says he is excited as he eagerly awaits the arrival of two more players.

Speaking to the Official Site, the Millers boss said that he could confirm that personal terms have been agreed with two more players and hopes to get them signed up by Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

'Both the new lads are quality additions,' Evans said, 'but I do not want to say anything further as they still have to sign the paperwork.

'I can also confirm that the Chairman has sanctioned me to make two further bids for players that really do excite me. These bids are of course in addition to the offer which was turned down for the lad Mark Little at Peterborough United, however that may be re-visited next week but the Chairman wants to think that through which, of course is his prerogative.

'It would be fair to say it has been a very busy and sometimes stressful period since the season finished, but hopefully we will now start to see some fruits from our hard labour.'

The boss is at Gresty Road watching the League Two play-off game between Crewe and Southend this evening.
