RUFC - Shearer Signs In!

Rotherham United have signed shot stopper, Scott Shearer today from Crawley Town

The thirty-one year old Scot began his career with Albion Rovers before moving South of the border to Coventry in 2003. While with the Sky Blues Scott had loan spells with Rushden and Diamonds before moving to Bristol Rovers in July 2005 where he became first choice 'keeper straight away. After having a three month loan spell with Shrewsbury Town, Scott joined Wycombe Wanderers but after only a handful of games was injured and had to sit the rest of the season out.

Scott stayed with Wycombe until his release at the end of the 2010/11 season. He then joined non-league Wrexham in the Conference National moving to Crawley Town in January 201l, playing thirty games last season and helping them into League One.

Scott gained a Scotland 'B` cap in 2003.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Scott to the Millers
