RUFC - Grabbs to become a Cherry

Rotherham United striker, Lewis Grabban has agreed terms with Bournemouth, subject to a successful medical.

Speaking to the Official Site, Millers boss, Steve Evans said, 'Lewis made it clear to the club that he wanted to move south, and we accepted an offer for him this morning from AFC Bournemouth. Terms were agreed and we expect the deal to be concluded shortly.

Bournemouth are a club I have a lot of respect for and I am sure that the partnership between Lewis and Bournemouth will flourish.

'Whilst we are wishing the lad every success, all of us know in the business that transfers are never completed until all the formalities have been signed by the respective Chairman, we expect that this will be concluded tomorrow morning.'

Lewis joined the Millers last summer and played forty-seven games scoring twenty-one goals.

Lewis was Vital Rotherham's Player of the Season last season and we wish him all the best at Dean Court.

Now - could this reignite the Millers interest in Matt Tubbs?
