RUFC - Millers boss's Bank Holiday cancelled

Join The Vital Debate

Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans says the bank holiday weekend has been cancelled for him as he tries to add to his squad for next season.

Already bringing in six new players the Millers boss is thought to be after a left back, a midfielder, a winger and another striker.

'I need to get my squad in place,' Evans told the Official Site after it had been revealed that Lewis Grabban had signed for Bournemouth today. 'I have outlined the positions of the lads that I am having talks with but there is also another player who I would love to bring here but the Chairman still has to sanction the offer that will be made so that will probably not happen until next Wednesday.

'This football club, in particular the supporters and the chairman deserves success and I am giving this job everything I can to provide myself with the best chance of doing that. If I can put the squad in place I am working on then we will enjoy a fantastic season.'
