RUFC - Chairman -The 1925 Club is World Class

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart says that the club has 'world class facilities' as they get ready to move into the New York Stadium.

The club have launched an exclusive sports and business club called the 1925 Club which will provide match day facilities which Mr Stewart says will be 'stunning'.

Speaking to Les Payne of The Star Mr Stewart said, 'This will be a fabulous sporting venue, an iconic emblem for Rotherham and South Yorkshire, and the centrepiece is going to be the 1925 Club which I believe will offer exclusive experiences and opportunities for sponsors, businesses and supporters alike to enjoy a successful future together. Every detail has been designed to make match days at the 1925 Club as special as possible, whether entertaining business clients, rewarding staff or simply relaxing and enjoying the game.'

Why the 1925 club? Well, it is named after the year that Rotherham County and Rotherham Town amalgamated to make Rotherham United.
