RUFC - Millers prepare to break transfer record
Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans says that he is prepared to break the Millers transfer record but not unless it`s right for the club.
Having had talks with Chairman, Tony Stewart, yesterday over bringing in a player which would break the current transfer record of £150,000, the Millers boss told The Star, 'I won`t break the record for the sake of it or spend unnecessarily, only if it`s right and benefits us.`
Speculation on the message boards and social networking sites over who this player could be has been rife and, until yesterday, there was thinking that it could be Matt Tubbs but he has now pledged his allegiance to Bournemouth.
So, who is this player who is worth so much money?
Maybe it won`t be long before we find out.
