RUFC - Evans says 'no' to duo
Rotherham United will not be making any more enquiries into signing Ashley Vincent or Lionel Ainsworth.
The club had make tentative enquiries about the pair but a deal could not be struck with either player.
Speaking to the Official Site, Millers boss, Steve Evans said, 'Ashley was one of the first player we spoke to but his terms were unrealistic.
'Lionel was also a young man that we spoke to, but that looks like something that won't be happening.
'Sometimes people get a little carried away thinking that we are spending lots of money, but I think I said it last week that we are spending less on the budget than we did last year. '
