Rotherham United Nostalgia Society

Rotherham United Nostalgia Society welcome Barry Webster this evening as their guest speaker.

Sheffield born Barry began his career with Gainsbrough Trinity before moving to the Millers in 1956.  The tricky winger, nicknamed 'cowboy` by Millers fans because of the shape of his legs, played over one hundred and eighty times for Rotherham scoring more than forty goals in league and cup.  Barry was a member of the Millers team who reached the first ever League Cup Final against Aston Villa, scoring the first goal in the home tie.

After leaving the Millers Barry went on to play for Bradford City and Buxton.

The meeting takes place at the Green Dragon, Kimberworth and begins at 8.30pm.
