RUFC - Do you know a 'colourful character'?

Do you know a 'colourful' character who is associated with Rotherham United?

If so, then Johnstone's Paint, the firm who sponsor the Football League Trophy, want to know about him or her.

To honour the brand's pallet of sixteen thousand colours, anyone who is suitably vibrant and has left a lasting impression in any way should be put forward to enjoy fifteen minutes of fame with the trophy.

A Johnstone's Paint judging panel will short list six characters who will be put on their website so everyone can vote for their favourite.

The winner will get 250 worth of paint for their home plus a trophy while each short listed entry will receive a Johnstone's Paint Trophy goodie bag and a 25 voucher to spend at their local Johnstone's Decorating Centre.

Speaking to the Official Site, Johnstone's Paint Trophy sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick, said, 'We bring colour into the homes of our customers every day, so we thought it would be appropriate to commemorate those who do likewise at football grounds. We know that there are an abundance of colourful characters at football grounds up and down the country, so we thought it was time that they were celebrated.'

So whether it be fan, player, mascot or one of the backroom staff (or even the manager!) - tell Johnstone`s Paint about your nominated colourful character by emailing stating in less than two hundred and fifty words why your candidate is Johnstone's most Colourful Character before 1st July.

Fans can also display pictures of their nomination on the company's official Facebook and twitter pages.
