RUFC - Chairman confident ahead of new season

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart is full of confidence ahead of the new season and says that the Millers will put out a side that will grace their new surroundings at the New York Stadium.

This week, it seems, that various bookmakers are tipping Rotherham United as red-hot favourites to win League Two next season and the Chairman doesn`t disagree with that.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Mr Stewart said, 'We have a good calibre of player in this summer, which is shown with the bookies well fancying us to do well. It is refreshing that we are able to attract players with the new ground and facilities.

'We`ve developed a good, experienced and mature side, many of who have played at a higher level and who have all bought into what we are trying to achieve here.`
