RUFC - Millers Boss wishes Troy 'every success'

Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans might be fetching in new players but he also saw defender, Troy Brown leave yesterday, making him the sixth departure of Andy Scott`s signings last summer.

Lewis Grabban, Chris Holroyd, Luke Foster, Michael Raynes and on-loan signing Conrad Logan preceded Brown out of the club - leaving Gareth Evans, Ben Pringle and Danny Schofield the only ones of the nine signed still at the club.

After leaving yesterday Troy signed a one-year deal with Aldershot, the team he had been on loan with during the last campaign.

Speaking to the Official Site, the Millers Boss said, 'Having met with Troy and discussed in depth the options going forward we both came to the conclusion that he perhaps would not be involved in the team as much as we need players to be.

'He has been a smashing young man in every aspect since Paul Raynor and myself arrived and we all wish him every success.`

Troy appeared in just six games for the Millers last season before going on loan to Aldershot in the January transfer window where he made seventeen appearances.
