RUFC - Close to signing 'exciting winger'

Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans has again said that he wants to keep the supporters 'in the loop` with what is going on regarding signings.

Speaking to the Official Site on his usual 'Gaffer on Sunday, the Millers Boss said, that he had had his fourth meeting, this morning, with a 'very exciting winger` and that a deal is 'close to happening` while talks are continuing with left-back and striker.

Evans says that there will probably be more of last seasons squad leaving and he had spoken to two players and will be having a similar conversation with a third player next week explaining that first team time would be limited.

Speaking about the pre-season friendlies at the New York Stadium, Steve said that he was confident that he would get a full strength Premiership team there.

Steve is very keen to get out and about in the community and is getting ready to present prizes at Thrybergh School and Sports College, speak at the Nostalgia Meeting next month, take part in an answer and question session at the Sheppey in Maltby and will visit a young fan in hospital.
