'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Raynor 'Wilson has great pedigree'

Rotherham United's Assistant Manager, Paul Raynor says that new signing, Lawrie Wilson has a tremendous pedigree.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Raynor said, 'He's a good, experienced full-back. He's played for England at Under nineteen level and was at Everton and you don't get on the bench in a Champions League qualifier if you can't play football. Added to that he's played over one hundred and fifty Football League games, which is great pedigree.

'He was always our number one for the left-back position. We had a bit of competition for his signature but when we talk about the project that we are trying to do here and bring them to the stadium then it speaks for itself.'
