RUFC - No Gazza No Cry

Rotherham United`s new stadium, New York, will not be seeing the likes of former England star Paul Gascoigne after all.

No - he wasn`t the new signing Manager Steve Evans says he will break the bank for! Gazza was to appear at one of the evening events in December as part of a drive to bring in some big names but, unfortunately, after revelations that the forty-five year old is 'back on the bottle` the night has been cancelled.

Speaking to The Advertiser a spokesman for the organisers, MW Entertainments, said, 'We`ve had to move quickly to cancel then night. Clearly he`s not a well man and we couldn`t take the risk of going ahead with it.`
