RUFC - Millers take on Latics in Portugal

Rotherham United take on Oldham Athletic in a behind closed doors game later today in the Algarve.

The Millers go into this game on the back of a six-nil win over Parkgate and both Millers Manager, Steve Evans and the Latics Manager, Paul Dickov say the game is vital to them.

The teams haven't met since 2006 with Oldham winning both League One games with goals from Ian Sharps, Will Hoskins and Ritchie Partridge giving the Millers a three-one win in the Carling Cup game in August after Craig Rocastle had put the visitors to Millmoor in front.

The Millers Boss said that this game will aid the players in their respective pre-season targets while saying that they have all worked very hard.

Every Miller will get a chance to play except Dale Tonge and Michael O'Connor who won't be risked as they are still not one hundred per cent fit.

Kick-off for the game will be at 10.30am
