RUFC - Millers Boss 'proud to lead team out'

Rotherham United Manager, Steve Evans says he is 'very proud` to be leading his team out on Saturday in what will be the first competitive game at the New York Stadium.

'I think, when I first came here, I said this game would bring a full house,` the Millers Boss told MillersPlayer, 'and it looks like it`s going to be like that, especially in the home end.

'But, what we shouldn`t forget is that there is a game to be won.  Steve Evans is the manager and responsible for that so my message to the players will be let all the razzmatazz, the Chairman`s speech, the bands, the queuing at the turnstiles, go around us and not to forget we`ve got a team to beat who were most impressive at Bramall Lane last week and we will have a difficult afternoon.

'But we`ve got a lot of big game players here who have played in front of big crowds and it`s a vastly experienced squad that we`ve got.  The atmosphere is going to help and we are going to need that on Saturday because Burton Albion are going to come here and will try and steal the show.`
