Rotherham United striker Kayode Odejayi says there is plenty of belief among the players ahead of tomorrow's first league game at the New York Stadium.

Some people, me included, were a little worried when the squad was being assembled, that we hadn't got an out-and-out goal scorer, an 'Alfie' if you like but Kayode doesn't seem bothered like that and speaking to The Advertiser the tall Nigerian said, 'We've got a few goal scorers in this team and I'd like to think I'll be in among the goals because Danny Nardiello, Kieran Agard, Alex Revell and young Alec Denton are all capable of scoring. We train together week in-week out and we know what we are all capable of. You can't go into the season thinking we've not got a twenty-goal-a-season man, that's not what we're thinking.

'We have belief in the camp and know we have what it takes. We've just got to out and show it on a daily basis.'

After playing in the pre-season friendlies and the Cup game last weekend against Hull City, the thirty-year old said, 'The real test is going to be League Two but I think we've got more than enough here to deal with that.'

South Yorkshire Bragging Rights Go To The Millers

Rotherham United's fighting spirit did them well this afternoon after they came from one down in the first half to win the South Yorkshire derby with Doncaster Rovers two-one - but boy, did they leave it late!

Joe Mattock was back in the starting line-up for the Millers with Michael Ihiekwe, who had replaced him last week, nowhere to be seen. Rovers also made one change with Ben Whiteman replacing the injured Luke McCullough.

It was a scrappy start to the game and although Rovers
