RUFC - Noble 'We will all get a chance'

Rotherham United midfielder David Noble says that the way the squad has been built means that everyone is going to get a chance.

Steve Evans has brought together a squad of twenty-two players, although could add another one in the next week or so and those of us who have seen the friendlies have certainly seen a mixture of the players and the different formations Evans and his assistant Paul Raynor wanted to try out.

Speaking about the manager, the thirty-year old told The Advertiser, 'He`s doesn`t care who you are or what you`ve done in the past, he will pick the players who he sees are playing the best at the time.

'Everyone has played in teams where you know it`s going to be the same players no matter what the performance but that won`t be the case here.`

For me that`s good. We`ve had managers who we are sure have put players names on the team sheet without having seen them in training or had their favourites. It seems that Steve Evans isn`t like that. And, having a smaller squad means that most of the players will get a chance, at some stage, to play. Alright, I suppose if we get a lot of suspensions and injuries that might go against us a little, but, all in all, I do think it`s a better idea.

What do you think?
