RUFC - Player in tomorrow?
Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans is hopeful of having a new player in by tomorrow evening.
Speaking to the Official Site in his usual Gaffer on Sunday article, the Millers Boss admitted that deadline transfer day was stressful and, although being close to getting in a couple of players, in the end the Millers started the day after as they were. On Friday afternoon Steve admitted that he had, once again, tried to sign Matt Tubbs from Bournemouth with, what he thinks, was a financially good offer as well as making a loan offer but now accepts that he is part of the Cherries' plans.
But, he is hoping to get in a player who was at the New York Stadium on Saturday to watch the game and will see how he feels about the Millers and, just as importantly, what the management team think of him.
