'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Bradford

Rotherham United Boss Steve Evans thought his side deserved the four goal win over local rivals Bradford City at the New York Stadium on Saturday and even said that he thought the Bantams got away lightly.

Bradford Manager Phil Parkinson said that he would be taking the blame for the defeat although told Bradford`s Official Site that he wouldn`t be taking all the responsibility.

'We were too open as a team today,` the Bantams Boss said. 'After we conceded the second goal, no-one really took responsibility to make sure we didn't concede a third. We did have a go in the second half but three-nil is a mountain to climb.

'Today was definitely a step backwards and, although I feel we do have a good squad here, today`s result shows that we still have a lot of hard work to do. I`m absolutely choked for the supporters today. They were terrific for us.`
