RUFC - Club Statement

This club statement appears on the Official Site today

Rotherham United have begun taking steps to ban a supporter who was reported for using racial abuse during Saturday`s fixture against Bradford City. The individual`s details have also been handed over to the police and he may face criminal charges.

The club would like to emphasise that we operate has a zero tolerance policy on discrimination of any sort. Anyone found to be in breach of this rule will receive a lifetime banning order.

Whilst we hope this is an isolated incident anyone wishing to anonymously report discrimination or inappropriate behaviour within the ground can do so by using the following number: 07507449121.

This isn`t something you want to see at any football ground is it, never mind your home ground.
