RUFC - Boss disappointed with goal conceded

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans was disappointed at giving away the goal that dumped his side out of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy this evening.

Speaking after the loss to York City at the New York Stadium to MillersPlayer the Millers Boss said, 'It wasn`t good enough. There are one or two people out there tonight who we were disappointed with tonight and they will find out who before they go home.

'We never like to lose games, especially one we`ve dominated in the second half, to a deflected goal. It was one way traffic in the second half but you can`t allow for the sloppiness of the goal. Jason Taylor and Laurie Wilson get turned to easily for me but I think we created enough to have won four-one tonight.

'I`m not disappointed with the chances in the second half, I`m more disappointed with the goal we conceded. I`m disappointed with the lack of reaction of two or three who have been knocking at my door asking for a chance but that performance was way off and one or two might find themselves on the loan circuit this week.`
