RUFC - Defender Hunting for start tonight

Rotherham United take on Gateshead this evening at the International Stadium and one player who is set to make a start is Nicky Hunt.

Nicky, who was one of Steve Evans` summer signings, hasn`t kicked a ball in a competitive game for the Millers yet after tearing a hamstring in the pre-season friendly game against Heart but last night the Millers Manager hinted that both Nicky and other long-term injury victim, Dale Tonge, should get a run-out tonight, along with latest recruit Craig Morgan.

Speaking to the Official Site the twenty-eight year old former Bolton Wanderers right-back said, 'It was a fifty per cent tear to my hamstring and I had a scan last week and the results were much better than expected.

'I played a couple of friendlies but the league games are a different story and I can`t wait to be involved.`

The game tonight is a 7pm kick-off.
