RUFC Evans gets disciplined

The FA have reported on their web site that Steve Evans has been given a six match stadium ban and 3,000 fine.

Mr Evans has said that in the interest of Rotherham United he will not be contesting the disciplinary committee`s verdict.

The stadium ban means that he will not be able to attend on match days.

Now I don't condone the 'abusive and insulting words and behaviour with a reference to gender' but I do think it's a little unfair on the Millers. Fair enough, fine him and banish him to the stands - but to banish him from the ground for six games - I dunno about that
