'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Evans 'it will be hard'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has reiterated what his Chairman Tony Stewart has said that his enforced ban will not affect the team.

'It won't affect the players because they're professional and I will be speaking to my staff on the bench,' Evans, who has a six week stadium ban, told Radio Sheffield, 'I've got experienced staff and I'll let them get on with their jobs. Paul (Raynor) will be making the decisions as the game goes forward and the one thing I know is that he will be making them with the right intentions.'

While admitting that the ban is going to be hard for him, the Millers Boss said, 'It won't change the passion and the drive and commitment that I have.'

What do you think? Can it work with the Manager being manager all week and then the Assistant taking over on the day of the match?
