RUFC - Arnason set for late fitness test

Rotherham United could be without Midfielder Kari Arnason for the game against Torquay on Saturday at the New York Stadium.

Kari got a knock while playing for his International side Iceland last weekend and, although he was on their bench again on Tuesday, it could be that he will be getting a late fitness test on Saturday. It is thought that he has an ankle problem

Kari scored in Iceland's win over Norway but after a second crunching tackle had to come off early in the second half.

Let's hope that Kari is fit enough to play at least some part of the game on Saturday as I think he has been Steve Evans' key summer signing for the club. And, without doubt, we missed him on Saturday.
