RUFC - Evans 'loves' Ben!

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says he 'loves` midfielder Ben Pringle.

Prings, who joined the Millers from Derby County in June last year, didn`t have a lot of luck under former Manager Andy Scott, although did manage to score four goals in twenty-four appearances but, since Steve Evans took over, he`s made himself a regular in the first team and has already notched up three League goals.

'Ben came from the Championship to Rotherham to re-invent himself,` Evans told David Beddows of The Advertiser. 'The previous manager fell out of love with him but I love him and he knows he is now playing for someone who thinks a lot about what he does both on and off the pitch.

'He plays as hard in training as he does in matches - never stops running and has a great enthusiasm for the game.`

The Millers had an offer for both the twenty-three year old and for Kari Arnason, who had only joined a few weeks earlier, but both were rejected.

'As a manager,` the Millers Boss carried on, 'you take great satisfaction knowing that others are recognising the good things the boys are doing but you don`t want to be selling your best players.`

Ahhh, it's nice being loved in't it!
