RUFC - Evans 'Excellent Performance'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans watched the Millers win on Saturday on his laptop due to the six week stadium ban he has received.

Speaking after the win in his usual Gaffer On Sunday column on the Official Site, the Millers boss said, 'I thought our performance was excellent from start to finish, although we could, and probably should, have won by five or six goals.

'We are a team who is at our best when we play with a lot of energy and pass the ball quickly and we did that with some real creativity and with the likes of Nicky Hunt, Dale Tonge and Craig Morgan who are all short of match experience.

'The atmosphere was again fantastic, the supporters where brilliant and it was great to hear.'
