RUFC - Evans 'we love Noble'

RUFC - Evans 'we love Noble'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says there is no issue between him and midfielder David Noble after rumours of the two having had words after last weekend's dismal result against Port Vale which led to him being 'dropped' for the game against Torquay on Saturday.

But, that's not so, the Millers Boss told the Football League's Official Site.

'David has family issues,' Evans said, 'which has shown in his performances of late.

He did, however, admit that Noble hadn't taken the criticism from the boss last Sunday very well saying, 'We had a meeting and he apologised. We've given him until Thursday to sort himself out and we are looking forward to getting him back, we love him as a kid and as a player. David said some things that are wrong and that he has apologised for. He has gone away hugging me, so that is a good sign.'

If this incident happened last Sunday why has it taken a week to sort out? If the lad has personal problems then why not just say so in the first place? Did he have a virus or not?

Is it any of our business?
