Rotherham United Chairman Tony Stewart couldn`t be any happier with the success of the New York Stadium.
The Millers moved into the stadium in July and played a number of pre-season friendlies which proved to be very successful in terms of 'bums on seats` with Mr Stewart telling the Yorkshire Post that every game is like an event.
'I expected the first friendly against Barnsley to feel like an event and the first League game but every match has felt like an event and I am sure the game tonight against Rochdale will feel the same.
'It`s been fantastic on every level. The fans have bought into the move as has the town itself. And, judging by us winning all our three league games there so far and not conceding a goal, the players seem to relish playing there.
'We were expecting to have around two thousand booking for functions over Christmas but we already have up to four thousand two hundred booked in.
'And long may it all continue.`
There was a blip on Saturday with the automatic turnstiles when the ticket reader wasn`t working correctly which led to long queues outside the stadium and people missing the kick-off but the club`s Chief Operating Officer will be investigating the problem.
The club have also said they will be having a look at the sound quality from the PA System which seems to work fine every where in the ground except in the Family Stand where it sounds like the Millers have a team full of Russians playing for them.
Hopefully, both problems will quickly be resolved.
