'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Raynor 'we have no divine right to win'

Rotherham United will be looking to win their first away league game against Barnet on Saturday as well as trying to put behind them their first loss at home.

The Millers are on a bit of a topsy-turvy roller-coaster at the moment after not conceding at home they had three put past them on Tuesday which came after a one-nil victory against Torquay, that should have been comfortable but found them really hanging on in the final minutes of the game, and a six-two loss away at Port Vale.

I think we all know that football fans are a fickle lot, not least of all Millers supporters, and I`ve already heard the 'doom and gloom` merchants out in force.

Tuesday`s game, in my opinion, was always going to be a difficult one, with Rochdale coming on the back of an away win and in football there`s always going to be some disappointments.

As Assistant Manager Paul Raynor told Les Payne of The Star, 'You have to make things happen. You have no divine right to win.`

I think the Millers have to put a run of good results together starting on Saturday against Barnet.

That will hold off the moaners and whingers for a few days at least!
