RUFC - Millers probably won't appeal red

Rotherham United's Assistant Manager Paul Raynor wasn't impressed with the sending off of striker Alex Revell in the last ten minutes of the game.

Saying that he thought the Millers were the team who looked like scoring before referee Dean Whitestone showed Revell a red card Raynes told MillersPlayer, 'We were creating chances and our substitutions were getting to them (Barnet) and then the sending off.

'I just saw Alex trying to block a clearance and the guy goes down and I thought they'd need to stretchers to carry him off. Obviously not and he jumped back up seconds after Alex getting a red.

'It certainly wasn't a two footed challenge, because he's gone in to try and block a clearance. The guy's obviously seen him coming and instead of riding the tackle has done a triple sokow and three forward rolls and stayed down. But it doesn't surprise me. It's what we are up against at the moment.'

Asked if they would be appealing the red card, Raynes said, 'Do you think the FA are going to over-turn a red card for Rotherham United?'
