RUFC - Millers Won't Appeal Red Card

Rotherham United will not be appealing against the red card striker Alex Revell received on Saturday.

Referee Dean Whitestone gave the twenty-nine year old a straight red for, what seemed to many who were at the game, a fifty-fifty challenge with Barnet's David Stephens.

After reviewing the game the club have decided that the evidence wasn't conclusive and therefore think that an appeal would not be successful.

Rotherham is Alex's eighth League club and this is the first red card he's received in his league career which began in April 2001 with Cambridge United.
