RUFC - Two fit to return

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans will have both Kari Arnason and David Noble in contention for the game on Saturday against Oxford at the New York Stadium but could still be without a recognised left-back.

Arnason hasn`t played for the Millers since returning from International duty with Iceland when he came back with a foot injury and Noble has had some personal issues to deal with.

The Millers Manager told the Official Site, 'Any team is going to miss quality players such as 'Arny' and 'Nobby' because they are both top players. Since the weekend these lads have come through some real tough work with our fitness coaches and it will be like having two new top signings. Subject to no set-backs both will be named in the squad for Saturday.`

Evans will be waiting to hear what the outcome of Laurie Wilson`s visit to the specialist will be this week, with the only recognised left-back at the club not being available since limping off with a knee injury against Port Vale just after the half-hour mark. If he isn`t fit, and the Millers don`t fetch anyone else in, either Dale Tonge or Mark Bradley will be back in that position.

Meanwhile Evans said that today and tomorrow will be busy days for him as the club will be 'trying to do some business`.
