'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Evans 'huge week of football'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that the Millers have a 'huge` week of football this week.
The Millers start tomorrow at home to Oxford, who, like the Millers, are probably not doing as well as some would have thought at the start of the season. On Tuesday we visit Accrington who, going into the weekend, are in sixth place followed by a short trip to play York City a week tomorrow.

'Oxford have got some players of real talent and an experienced manager in Chris Wilder,` the Millers Boss told David Beddows of The Advertiser. 'And they will be coming here to nick a result. So we have to get at them and get the three points and for that we`ll need the supporters behind us. We`ve already beaten Burton and Bradford at the New York Stadium and some people were perhaps thinking this would be the norm but we needed to earn those wins and the same goes for tomorrow.`

With some of the Millers fans starting to show their disappointment at the results lately, Evans went on to say that the Millers` squad are hungry for success, saying, 'I`m not going to decry the performance levels because, in the large, they have been good. We just need to make sure they produce wins. It`s a top squad with good characters and it is still very early days. We certainly won`t be panicking.`
