RUFC - Evans excited about second half of season

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans won't speak about any prospective players that he is thinking of getting in.

Defender Bob Harris arrived this week on loan from Blackpool which, in his usual Gaffer on Sunday spot on the Official Site, the Millers Boss wants to thank the Tangerines Manager Ian Holloway for.

'I thought he started a little nervously but after the first fifteen minutes don't remember him giving the ball away.

'I don't want to talk about any more possible signings. If and when there is any news I will let the supporters know straight away. On Thursday we got Bob Harris and I thought we had a striker too but that never happened though I totally understand the reasons why.

'All I will say is that I am really trying to raise the quality within the squad but we will only add players who we believe will do that, adding more of the same is not the route I want to take. Let us focus on the players we do have, our squad is excellent and, as expected, is still taking time to gel. The longer the season goes the better understanding the players will have and that is why I am so excited about the second half of the season.'
