'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - York City

Rotherham United`s Assistant Manager Paul Raynor seemed quite happy with a point away from home against York City on Saturday.

Millers Boss Steve Evans, who due to a stadium ban only managed to watch the game on DVD afterwards, thought we should have won the game but said that, like the Millers, York City 'play the game the right way.`

Gary Mills, Manager of the Minstermen, also seemed happy with a point and told Radio York, 'I thought we`d done well today. There`s some good sides in this league and Rotherham set out their stall to get promotion this season and we`ve got a nil-nil at home with them.

'We had a couple of good openings to score but we didn't take them. We`ve got to keep our shape, stay disciplined and stay strong and when we get that chance we`ve got to open them up which we did a couple of times but couldn't quite put the ball in the net. But it`s another point for us and another clean sheet and I don`t think our 'keeper had a save to make in the first half. I`m disappointed that it`s another game we haven`t scored in which is unusual for us.

'I`m absolutely delighted with my players today. And another club has come here and I don`t think, at this moment in time, we`ve said anyone is better than us. We`ve played a lot of teams now and no one has really stuck out that much.`
