RUFC - Kayodi sure the goals will come

Rotherham United striker Kayode Odejayi is confident that the goals will come.

The tall Nigerian, who joined the Millers from Colchester in the summer, has scored just two goals in twelve appearances although he has set other up to score.

'As a striker when you`re not scoring you have to look at what else you are bringing to the table,` the thirty year old former Barnsley player told The Star. 'And I have created opportunities for my team mates and played well and, as long as I`m doing that and getting into the right positions, I`m sure the goals will come.`

To be fair to Big K for the last few games he`s been up front alone and hasn't had the service he perhaps deserves. He was subbed just before the hour mark on Saturday against Southend and many fans in the stadium were questioning why?

Speaking about the Millers away form as they are still looking for their first away win of the season, the striker said, 'Our away form is nothing to worry about. We are looking to improve things but we haven`t lost in the last few away games which is always a positive.`
