RUFC - Evans Delighted With Loanee

Rotherham United handed a debut to loanee midfielder Lee Frecklington this afternoon at Aldershot and he made it a perfect debut by scoring the opening goal in the three-nil win.

Speaking after the game, Millers Manager Steve Evans told Radio Sheffield that he was delighted with the twenty-seven year old.

'I think he`s a Championship player and played like a Championship player. I signed him because of his forward runs and I think he probably should have put us ahead before he did. In the second half he produced a piece of magic where he side-stepped everyone and made the goalie make a first class save.'
