RUFC - Evans 'It's The Tie Of The Round'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that the FA Cup tie of the round is Rotherham United v Stevenage at the New York Stadium.

And what the Millers Boss wants to do is beat Stevenage, beat whoever they get in the next round and fetch a big club to the New York Stadium.

'I want to bring the Manchester Uniteds and the Arsenals to Rotherham for myself, the Chairman and the fans. If there's any set of fans deserve that more than the Rotherham United fans given the Don Valley and given the Chairman saving this club they deserve it and I'm desperate to give them a cup run but I'm also desperate to get in the play-offs so that's do that first and get into a cup run second.'

But to do that he's got to first beat League One side Stevenage and when he was asked what he thought of the draw he told MillersPlayer'It's awesome. Stevenage are second in League One and their away form is invincible - they are absolutely flying.

'I've a lot of respect for Gary Smith and I think he's improved Stevenage and he's added to the way that Graham Westley had them working.

'They are a real organised solid unit and it will be a difficult cup tie for us. It's not very often this season that we will be the underdogs at home but this is probably one of them.'
