Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans thought tonight`s performance was 'excellent`.

Speaking after his team had come back to win from being one down in the first half to a lively Morecambe side, the Millers Boss told MillersPlayer, 'I just knew when the first goal came that we`d get a second and, if we`re being honest, we were so much on top we should probably have finished with four or five.

At half-time I said a few harsh words to one or two who I thought could step up in the second half and they did that and gave us a real performance. My last words to them coming out for the second half was 'go and repay the fans for Southend.

'We will be very critical about the goal we conceded. We got a corner and ten seconds later it`s in our net, but that`s down to some individuals not doing their job. But Morecambe are a good side and there will be easier games but there will be tougher games as well. But they are a very good team and had two ex-players who came back and wound the crowd up - Kevin Ellison of course and then he produces that piece of magic and scores a goal. At the end of the game he came over and we shook hands and he says he hopes we have a season that befits the football club which were kind words.`
