RUFC - Evans Delighted To Capture Morris

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that he is 'delighted' at getting the signature of loanee Josh Morris for an initial month from Blackburn Rovers.

'The lad had a couple of alternative loan options at a higher level but he spoke to both Colin Hendry and Eric Black and he came to us,' the Millers Boss told the Official Site.

'I have seen the lad a number of times and he is the type of player we are always looking for. He is young, has a great desire , is hungry to play first team football and has a great left foot.'

Evans worked quickly to get the twenty-one year old midfielder in after Blackpool recalled Bob Harris after his loan spell with the Millers came to an end.'

Josh will be available for the Plymouth game on Saturday and has also been given permission to play in the FA Cup tie at the New York Stadium against Stevenage.
