RUFC - A Bit Of Good News On The Injury Front

Rotherham United 'lost' another two players to injury yesterday when Lionel Ainsworth dislocated his shoulder in the pre-match warm-up and Dale Tonge was helped off the pitch on four minutes with a knee and ankle injury. Ainsworth could be out for ten weeks with Tongey looking at a lay-off of at least six weeks.

But, there is a little bit of good news on the horizan with David Noble, who has been suffering from an ankle injury, could be back within a week or so.

Speaking to the Official Site in his usual Gaffer on Sunday article, Millers Boss Steve Evans said, 'The options for selection within the squad have been substantially reduced, but let us not forget we still have some players who have not been involved recently like Nicky Hunt and Mitchell Rose. We also have a reserve game on Tuesday when those two and the likes of Laurie Wilson and Alec Denton will feature.'
