Rotherham United striker Kieran Agard was delighted to get his first Millers goal last Saturday but just as delighted that it got all three points to see Rotherham climb up the table.

Speaking to MillersPlayer during training this week, the twenty-three year old former Yeovil player spoke about his goal saying, 'I saw Nards running down the line with the ball and knew he would beat him man so I made my way across the box and I guided it in. I wanted to come on and make an impact and try and help the team. I was buzzing with it and it gave me a real boost. I'm confident and I knew it was only a matter of time before I scored and hopefully I've given the manager a bit of food for thought.

'I've settled in well here and the players and staff have all been welcoming and I'm happy.

'I'm looking forward to the FA Cup and we are hoping for a win against a League One team and if we get a win it will give us a boost.'
