RUFC - Evans Hoping For TV Cup Tie

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans thinks that the Millers cup tie against Notts County at the New York Stadium is one for the television.

Speaking after the draw in his usual Gaffer On Sunday article on the Official Site the Millers Boss said, 'We have been drawn at home to a quality team who are unbeatable away from home. I believe they are now nineteen games unbeaten away from home which has seen them set a new club record. Now that is impressive and it's going to be another huge ask for my lads.

'I would like to think the television cameras will see this as a 'must show live' match, it has all the ingredients to be a cracker plus of course our new stadium deserves the coverage.'

I'm a little surprised that the TV camera's haven't already paid a visit to the New York Stadium New ground, well known Manager (who would surely 'play up' for the cameras!), some good players. But I think the TV will go for cup ties where there could be some real upset eg a non-league side beating a league side.
