RUFC - Evans 'We're Still A Work In Progress'

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans said the finishing wasn't 'where it should be` after last night`s one-all draw with Fleetwood at the Highbury Stadium.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield after he saw Kari Arnason put the Millers in front only to be pegged back a couple of minutes later, the Millers Boss said, 'I don`t think the Fleetwood fans will see many better visiting performances than that tonight.

'We have to accept that our finishing wasn't where it should but if we go to a lot of places this year and play with that level of commitment, the passing play, the movement then I`ll stand up for them. We`re not there yet but we`re getting there but we are still a work in progress.

'Their goalkeepers made three wonder saves in the second half and we are pleased with our performance and commitment tonight. I think Micky Melon has seen his team torn apart in the second half and he`ll be grateful that he`s got a point.

'Our lads are in the dressing room now choking with disappointment and that`s the sign of a good team.`
