RUFC - View From The Opposition - Fleetwood

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans said that the home fans at the Highbury Stadium would see no better visiting performance after the one-all draw with Fleetwood Town yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, the Cod Army's Manager Micky Melon said that it was real 'blood and thunder stuff.'

Speaking to Fleetwood's Official Site Melon said, 'It was a good old fashioned English League game contested by two physical teams trying to win the game.

'I couldn't ask any thing else from my players because I think they gave us everything they had and it was a real blood and thunder occasion.

'Scott Davis made some incredible saves but that's how good he is. He obviously had a lapse of concentration for their goal and he is disappointed but what's pleasing is that he's carried on and given me a good performance in the second half.

'Rotherham turned us round every time they could. Every time they won it they put it in behind us and they certainly made us defend. It's a long time since I've been at Fleetwood that we've had the ball put in the box that many times and it was a real tough game and in the end I think a point was probably a fair result.'
