RUFC - Warney Granted Testimonial
Rotherham United have granted Paul Warne a testimonial.
Warney joined the Millers, for the first time, in 1999 from Wigan Athletic and was part of the back-to-back promotions when Rotherham went from League Two to the Championship. He moved to Oldham Athletic in 2005 and two years later moved to Yeovil.
Failing to agree a deal with the Glovers Warney returned to the Millers under Mark Robins in 2009. From then until now he has had a number of jobs from player, to coach to caretaker assistant manager and has his own 'diary' on MillersPlayer called 'Warney's World'.
He was involved in three games last season but hung up his boots in May to join the coaching staff.
The game will take place at the end of the season.
