'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View From The Opposition - Wycombe

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans was disappointed, to say the least, with his defenders in last night`s three-two loss at home to Wycombe Wanderers.

Meanwhile, the Chairboys Manager Gareth Ainsworth was delighted with the win that saw them move off bottom spot in League Two.

Speaking to Wycombe Player, Ainsworth said, 'It was a fantastic night and win but it`s been coming.

'We`ve got a good bunch here and I can see these boys battling and scrapping together like we`ve seen tonight. I saw that in the last two games when the results didn't go our way although the performance warranted it. Tonight we`ve got the result on top of the performance and I`m over the moon because they deserve it.

'I`m proud of all those who got on that bus today and also the one`s who got on the other bus to come and support us.`
